Below is a list of selected writings from over the years. My writing focuses on a handful of topics, including:
1) Upcycling and creative reuse (aka Garbage to Goods): this is where innovative product design coalesces with waste reduction and landfill diversion. I’m talking about making something useful out of someone else’s trash – thereby by reducing the flow to our landfills, and eliminating the need to extract virgin materials to create something new.
2) Consumer behavior change: I am obsessed with finding ways to change the way you and I operate to make it more compatible with inhabiting the planet for centuries to come. I love covering companies that find innovative ways to create incentives that make people more mindful in their behavior.
3) Accelerating the movement to a green economy: I love connecting the dots between people, organizations, resources and ideas, especially when it means that more folks will land good and green jobs. So some of my writing focuses on topics such as how to find a green job.
4) Technology and innovation: I love Silicon Valley and seeing what new ideas are coming up. I also like attending technology events and reporting back on what I learn.
